Honda Unveils QC3 Electric Scooter in India With Longer Range and Smart Features
Honda has introduced the QC3 electric scooter featuring a fixed battery connected technology fast charging impressive riding range and practical features designed for everyday urban commuting needs.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has expanded its electric mobility portfolio with the introduction of the new QC3 electric scooter. Designed for urban commuters, the latest model combines a longer riding range, connected technology and practical everyday usability, strengthening Honda’s presence in the rapidly growing electric two wheeler market.
The QC3 is equipped with a 3 kWh fixed battery pack that is designed to deliver both efficiency and convenience. According to reports, the battery can be charged from zero to 80 percent in approximately two hours and forty minutes, making it suitable for riders who need quick turnaround times between journeys.
One of the biggest highlights of the scooter is its claimed IDC certified range of more than 150 kilometres on a single charge. This places the QC3 among the longer range electric scooters in its category and makes it a practical option for both daily commuting and extended city travel without frequent charging.
Honda has also focused on technology by offering a five inch TFT instrument cluster with connected features. The digital display provides real time vehicle information while supporting Honda RoadSync connectivity. Riders can access smart functions including turn by turn navigation, helping make everyday travel more convenient.
The scooter is designed with practicality in mind. It offers around 32 litres of under seat storage, providing enough space for daily essentials. A smart key system further enhances convenience by allowing easier access and operation without the need to insert a traditional key.
Honda believes the QC3 will appeal to customers looking for an electric scooter that balances performance, range and modern features. With its larger battery, connected technology and generous storage capacity, the scooter is positioned as a reliable companion for regular city use.
The company already has two electric scooters in the Indian market. The Activa e starts at an ex showroom price of Rs 1.17 lakh and offers a claimed range of around 102 kilometres on a single charge. The more affordable QC1 is priced from Rs 90022 ex showroom and delivers a claimed range of approximately 80 kilometres.
With the launch of the QC3, Honda is further strengthening its electric vehicle lineup as competition intensifies in the segment. The new scooter will compete with electric offerings from Bajaj Auto, TVS Motor, Ather Energy and Ola Electric, giving buyers another feature rich option in the increasingly competitive Indian electric scooter market.
