Weather Report: red alert till June 16, announced schools holiday

Weather Report: Monsoon is loud and many districts are in disarray. Rainfall in the coastal districts on Friday has fallen, India Meteorological Department (IMD) red alert in 7 districts till June 16, announced schools holiday.

The Red Alert has been announced on June 13 for the heavy rains for Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamoga. Hassan, Davanagere, Haveri, Dharwad, Gadag and Belgavi have been given the background of heavy rains and the rest of the districts have been given to the rest of the districts.

On Sunday, there will be widespread rainfall across the state, Issued red alert to the Coastal districts, Kodagu, Chikmagalur and orange alert to Hassan, Haveri, Dharwad, Belgavi and Bidar. The India Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall next week and has been given a red alert to 7 districts of coastal karnataka and Malnad.

Orange Alert has been given to Mysore, Davanagere, Haveri, Gadag, Koppal, Dharwad, Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bidar. There have been continuous rainfall since Wednesday afternoon. There is a modest, sometimes torrential rain in Madikeri city, creating a cloudy atmosphere in the entire district. Red Alert has been announced in the district from 8.30 am to June 16.

On Wednesday, all Anganwadi and school college in the district were declared a holiday. But there was no rainfall anywhere in the evening. The district collectors have announced a holiday to the school and college on Friday in the wake of the red alert announcement in the district.
