PM Kisan Yojana: Do this important work to get 20th Installment

PM Kisan Yojana: There is a big relief news for crores of farmers across the country! Under the government’s ambitious scheme, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), farmers are given a financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year.

This amount will be sent directly to the farmers’ bank accounts in three equal installments of Rs 2,000. So far, the government has released 19 installments, out of which the 19th installment was released in February 2025.

Now crores of farmers in the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment! If reports are to be believed, the 20th installment may reach the farmers’ accounts by June 20, 2025! However, there is no official announcement from the government in this regard yet.

According to reports, the 20th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme may be transferred to farmers’ accounts on June 20, 2025.

However, there is no formal announcement from the government yet. Farmers are advised to contact the official website of PM-Kisan or their local agriculture office for the latest information.

PM-KISAN is a central government scheme, in which 100% of the funds are managed by the central government.

First installment:- April-July

Second installment:- August-November

Third installment:- December-March

Who gets the benefit of the PM-Kisan scheme

This scheme benefits only those farmers who fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

The beneficiary must be an Indian citizen.

He must own agricultural land.

The bank account must be linked to Aadhaar.

Completing eKYC is mandatory.

Income Taxpayers

Farmers working in government or semi-government jobs

All of these are not eligible for this government scheme.

To get the 20th installment, do eKYC

To get any installment on time, it is mandatory to complete eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer). If you have not done eKYC yet, there may be a delay or stoppage in getting your 20th installment.

How to do eKYC online:

First of all, go to the official website of PM-Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on the ‘e-KYC’ option given on the right-hand side of the website.

Enter your Aadhaar Number and the given Captcha Code and click on ‘Search’.

Enter your Mobile Number Linked to your Aadhaar.

Click on ‘Get OTP’ and fill in the received OTP (One Time Password) and ‘Submit’.

After this process, your eKYC will be completed.

Make sure your Aadhaar and bank account are linked

Farmers should ensure that their Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account. If this is not done, payments may be delayed or rejected.

Contact your bank to ensure that your Aadhaar is properly linked to your account.

Check your PM-Kisan beneficiary status like this

To check your beneficiary status:

Open the pmkisan.gov.in website.

Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.

Fill in your Aadhaar number or registration number.

Submit the information and see if your name is on the list, and when your last installments were received.
