Bank account: Are you a Punjab National Bank (PNB) customer? So this is the main news for you. Bank account will block if you fail to do this before March 26. The bank has suggested that some customers should update their (KYC) information by March 26, 2025. Otherwise your account may be restricted.

PNB recently announced that this rule would apply to customers who did not update KYC by December 31, 2024. Customers must complete the KYC renovation process so as not to restrict a bank account.

How is the KYC process?

As the bank suggested KYC update can be done online or offline. Updated using PNB One (Mobile App) or Internet Banking. Alternatively, visit the bank branch or send documents (registred email).

You must provide these documents to update KYC:

Identity Card (Aadhaar, Passport)

Address proof

Passport Size Photo

(PAN) or Form 60 (for those who do not have PAN)

Proof of income (if necessary)

Registered Mobile Number

What happens if KYC does not update?

If the KYC is not done within the specified date, you cannot do any online transaction. The account may be shut down and it is not possible to get any banking service.

How to Update KYC through PNB One Op?

Download PNB One App first.

Login to   Account, check KYC Status.

Select update KYC.

Complete the process of Aadhaar Authentication.

Warning about cyber frauds!

PNB customers should be careful about fake messages and emails. KYC should be processed only through official links. If you need offline KYC, visit the bank branch directly.
