Indian Railway cancel over 23 trains from Bengaluru
Indian Railway: Following the necessary engineering works between Tumakuru and Mallasandra stations, girder replacement on Bhimasandra Limited Height Subway, construction of pedestrian overpass at Bhimasanda and Muddalinganahalli Halls stations and work on level crossing-28 between Nidavanda and Hirehalli are being carried out.
In this backdrop, South Western Railway has informed that some train services have been cancelled, some trains have been partially cancelled and some trains have been diverted from Bengaluru.
Cancelled trains:
Train number (16239) Chikkamagaluru-Yeshwanthpur Daily Express, train number (16240) Yeshwanthpur-Chikkamagaluru Daily Express and train number (12614) KSR Bengaluru-Mysore Daily Express trains have been cancelled on December 17 and 24.
Partially cancelled trains:
Train No. (66567) KSR Bangalore-Tumkur MEMU train will be partially cancelled between Doddabele and Tumkur on December 17, 20, 21 and 24, and will terminate at Doddabele instead of Tumkur.
On December 17, 20, 21 and 24, Train No. (66572) Tumkur-KSR Bangalore MEMU train will be partially cancelled between Tumkur and Doddabele, and will commence its journey from Doddabele instead of Tumkur.
On December 17, 20, 21 and 24, Train No. (20652) Talaguppa-KSR Bangalore Express train will be partially cancelled between Arasikere and KSR Bangalore, and will terminate its journey at Arasikere instead of KSR Bangalore.
December On 17, 20, 21, 24, train number (12725) KSR Bangalore-Dharwad Express train will be partially cancelled between KSR Bangalore and Arsikere and will start its service from Arsikere instead of KSR Bangalore.
On December 17, 24, train number (12726) Dharwad- KSR Bangalore Express train will be partially cancelled between Arsikere and KSR Bangalore and will terminate its service at Arsikere instead of KSR Bangalore.
On December 17 and 24, train number (66571) KSR Bangalore-Tumkur MEMU train will be partially cancelled between Doddabele and Tumkur and will terminate its service at Doddabele instead of Tumkur.
On December 17th and 24th, train number (66568) Tumkur-KSR Bangalore MEMU train will be partially cancelled between Tumkur and Doddabele and will start from Doddabele instead of Tumkur.
On December 17th and 24th, train number (56281) Chamarajanagar-Tumkur Pleasure Train will be partially cancelled between Chikkabanavara and Tumkur and will end at Chikkabanavara instead of Tumkur.
Train route diversion:
On December 16th and 23rd, train number (17310) Vasco da Gama-Yeshwantpur Express train leaving from Arsikere, Hassan, Nelamangala and Yeshwantpur will run via Arsikere, Hassan, Nelamangala and Yeshwantpur. It will not stop at Tiptur and Tumkur stations.
On December 16th and 23rd, train number (17316) Velankani-Vasco da Gama Express will run via Chikkabanavara, Nelamangala, Hassan and Arsikere. It will not have scheduled stoppages at Tumkur and Tiptur stations.
On December 17th, 20th, 21st, 24th, train number (17326) Mysore-Belgaum Express will run via Mysore, Holenarasipur, Hassan and Arsikere. It will not have a stoppage from Pandavapura to Tiptur.
On December 17th, 20th, 21st, 24th, train number (16579) Yeshwantpur-Shivamogga Town Express will run via Chikkabanavara, Nelamangala, Hassan and Arsikere. It will not have Tumkur and Tiptur stops.
Trains Restrictions:
Trains No. (22685) Yesvantpur-Chandigarh Express, (17309) Yesvantpur-Vasco da Gama Express and (20651) KSR Bengaluru-Talaguppa Express departing from their origin stations on December 17 and 24 will be restricted for 15 minutes in route.
Train No. (17310) Vasco da Gama-Yesvantpur Express departing on December 19 and 20 will be restricted for 30 minutes’ route during the train journey.
Trains Rescheduling:
On December 15th and 22nd, train number (19667) Udaipur City-Mysore Weekly Hum Safar Express will depart from Udaipur City by 180 minutes, and train number (22497) Sri Ganganagar-Tiruchirapalli Hum Safar Weekly Express will depart from Sri Ganganagar by 120 minutes. Also, train number (22497) will be restricted for 60 minutes along the route.
On December 17th and 24th, train number (12649) Yesvantpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express, 56282 Tumkur-Chamarajanagar Daily Passenger and (12777) SSS Hubli-Thiruvananthapuram Uttara Weekly Superfast Express will depart from their origin stations by 120 minutes.
