SSC Recruitment 2025: Apply for 25,487 Police Constable Posts; Salary Rs 69,100
SSC Recruitment 2025: The SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026 notification, which was released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). It is a major recruitment drive for Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (GD) posts in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Apply for 25,487 Police Constable Posts; Salary Rs 69,100.
SSC is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Constable (GD) posts for the year 2026. A total of 25,487 posts will be filled under this notification. These posts will be filled in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assam Rifles, Secretariat Security Force (SSF) etc.
Any candidate with 10th class qualification can apply online. Also, the age of the candidates should be between 18 and 23 years as on January 1, 2026. That is, they should have been born between January 2, 2003 and January 1, 2008. Those who have these qualifications can apply online till December 31, 2025. The application process has already started.
An application fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid. SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the application fee. The final selection will be based on Computer Based Examination (CBE) Online Written Tests, PET/PST, Medical Examination, Document Verification.

Selection Process:
1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): An online written test.

3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Document Verification.
