Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89
Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89 today (Monday, November 24, 2025) in Mumbai. He was a legendary figure, fondly known as the ‘He-Man’ of Indian cinema, with a career spanning over six decades and more than 300 films.
His contribution to cinema is immense, with iconic roles in films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Dharam Veer. He had recently been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital and discharged to recover at home, but his health reportedly deteriorated. His passing marks the end of an era in Bollywood.
He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital around the end of October/early November after reportedly experiencing breathlessness. He was discharged on November 12, 2025, and has been recovering at home since then.
Fresh concern has arisen today as an ambulance was spotted at his Mumbai residence, and several celebrities have been seen arriving there. Security has also been increased at the Pawan Hans crematorium.
