Student delivers baby incident took place in Bhuvanagiri area of Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu. A case has been registered against an 10 standard student for allegedly impregnating a girl. The body of the newborn baby was found on Thursday when a student found the child in the bush. After this, the school management informed the police. The police reached the spot and recovered the dead body of the child.
The infant’s umbilical cord was not properly cut. Suspicious of this, the police speculated that the child may have been delivered at the school, brought here and dumped. Later, when an investigation was conducted, it was revealed that a class 11 student had given birth to a child. The student also confessed.

A student who gave birth to a child in the school toilet threw the child in the bushes near the school compound and went home. During interrogation, the girl claimed that she was pregnant by a class 10 student from another school. The girl was admitted to a government hospital for treatment and a case was registered against the boy under various sections of the POCSO Act.
