An FIR has been registered against former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl on the eve of Kasabha elections.

An FIR has been registered against former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. The victim has filed a case against Yeddyurappa at the Sadashivnagar police station, alleging that he was raped last February.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim, Sadashivnagar police registered a case under POCSO and 354 (A) against Yeddyurappa. It is learned that the victim has mentioned in the FIR that she was sexually harassed when she went for help on February 2.

Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, along with Food Safety Commissioner Srinivas, shed light on the issue, stressing the need for stringent measures to ensure public health and safety. He announced a ban on colour cotton candy, citing the illegal addition of artificial colours. Violation of this order will result in cancellation of licenses as per law.
