Rahul Dravid son Anvay Dravid captain for Karnataka team
Rahul Dravid Son: Cricket wall Rahul Dravid’s younger son, Anvay Dravid, has been appointed the captain of the Karnataka Under-19 team for the upcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
Anvay Dravid is a wicketkeeper-batsman who has been consistently rising through the age-group cricket ranks in Karnataka, mirroring the solid and technical approach of his father, Rahul Dravid.
Anvay was the leading run-scorer for Karnataka in the previous edition of the same tournament. He also performed exceptionally well in the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.
Anvay Dravid was recently honored at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Annual Awards for his exceptional performance in junior cricket. He won the award for being the highest run-getter for Karnataka in the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy.

Anvay Dravid is Highest Run-Getter for Karnataka in the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy. He scored 459 runs in 6 matches (8 innings) in the tournament. His runs were scored at a remarkable average of 91.80. His innings included two centuries.
He received this particular KSCA award for his performance in the Vijay Merchant Trophy for the second consecutive year. Earlier, he had also won honors at the KSCA Awards for being the highest run-scorer in the Under-14 state league tournament.
He represents Vijaya Cricket Club in the local KSCA league in Bengaluru. His father, Rahul Dravid, even made a surprise return to club cricket to play alongside Anvay for this club in a third division league match.
His development is rooted in the strong age-group structure of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), where his performances have consistently earned him top-scoring and leadership honors.
