Australia is at the top of the points table, while India will have to settle for fourth place. Therefore, India vs Australia will face each other in the semi-finals. The semi-final match will be held on October 30. England will face South Africa in the second semi-final on October 29.

Although the picture of the semi-finals is clear, there is a fear of rain. Because many matches have been cancelled due to rain in the entire tournament. Therefore, the question arises as to how the winner will be decided if it rains in the semi-finals.

Based on standard ICC tournament rules for knock-out matches, if a Women’s World Cup semi-final between India and Australia is spoiled by rain and cannot be completed, the team that finished higher on the points table in the group stage will progress to the final.

Tournament rules usually stipulate a reserve day for the semi-finals. Every effort will be made to complete the match on the scheduled day, potentially with reduced overs, and then carry it over to the reserve day if necessary.

However, if a result is still not possible even after the reserve day, the team with the higher seeding from the group stage (i.e., the one with the better standing in the points table) will advance.
