Asia Cup 2025: The Asia Cup 2025 tournament has officially started today, September 9, 2025. This edition of the tournament is being held in the United Arab Emirates and will feature eight teams competing in the T20I format. The tournament will conclude with the final on September 28.

Opening Match: The tournament kicks off today with the match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
India’s first match: India will begin their campaign tomorrow, September 10, against the host nation, UAE, in Dubai.
India vs Pakistan: The highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, and the top two teams from that stage will then compete in the final. This tournament is considered a crucial preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled for next year.
Super Four & Final:
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, which begins on September 20. The final is scheduled for September 28. All Super Four and Final matches are scheduled for 8:00 PM IST.
