Power Cut in Bengaluru till November 23 in these areas
Bengaluru Power Cut: Many parts of Bengaluru will experience power cuts till November 23 due to urgent repair and maintenance works, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has said.
It has now released a schedule to bring this to the notice of the public. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will be conducting emergency repair and maintenance works at the Soladevanahalli sub-station. Due to this, many areas under the jurisdiction of N-9 sub-division of Jalahalli division will experience power cuts from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm daily till November 23.
1. Jalahalli Division (N-9 Sub-division):
This is due to emergency repair and maintenance work at the Soladevanahalli Sub-Station.
Duration: Daily from November 20 to November 23, 2025.
Time: From 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM (an extended 10-hour shutdown).
Major localities: Tarabanahalli, Hurulichikkanahalli (including extended areas), Chikkabanavara, Maruti Nagar, Ganapati Nagar, Shantinagar, Brothers Colony, Raghavendra Layout, Guddahalli, Dasenahalli, Hosahalli Palya.
Other areas: TB Cross, Hersanghatta, Bilijaji, Krishna College Road, Sasuveghatta, Bajajappa Layout, Shivakumar Swamiji Layout, Thotagere Basavanna Temple area, CDPO vicinity, Danish Farm, KMF area, Animal Husbandry area, Guni Agrahar, Somesheetihalli, Ganigarahalli, Pipeline Road.
Kereguddahalli, KT Pur, IIHR, Ivarakondapur, Seetakempanahalli, Linganahalli, Madappanahalli, Kalenahalli Shivakote Village, Mavallipura, Kondashettyhalli, Kurubarahalli, Kurubarahalli Pakegowdanpalya, Raghavendra Dham, Bylakere, Acharya College Main Road, Achyut Nagar, and surrounding localities.
2. Hebbal Division (C-7 Sub-division):
Disruptions are also scheduled for maintenance work at the Rajanakunte Sub-Station.
Date: Specifically, on November 21, 2025 (Friday).
Time: From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (6-hour shutdown).
Affected Areas:
Localities: Honnenahalli, Singanayakanahalli, Rajanakunte, Addeviswanathpura, Marasandra, Sriramanahalli, Nelakunte, Honeyyur, Chellahalli, Karlapur, KMF, Itagalpur, Byrapur, Boodamanahalli, Dibbur, Kakolu, Sonnenahalli, Century Layout, and surrounding areas.
3. Vijayapura Region:
Quarterly maintenance work is scheduled at the Vijayapura 66/KV power distribution center.
Date: Specifically, on November 23, 2025 (Sunday).
Time: Generally, for about 7-9 hours (please check the BESCOM website for the exact time slot for Nov 23).
Affected Areas: Vijayapura town, Yaluvahalli, Dharmapura, Bidiganahalli, Baluvanahalli, Venkatagirikote, Hurulgurki, Mudugurki, Bijjuwara, Harohalli, Dandiganahalli, Kommasandra, Thimmahalli, Muddenahalli, Narayanapura, and Goddumuddenahalli, and villages under Gundamagere, Sasalu, and Doddabelavangal.
BESCOM advises residents in the affected regions to make necessary arrangements like charging batteries and storing water to minimize inconvenience.
