Allegations of Bribe Offer Rock MUDA Site Allotment Case

Mysuru : The controversy surrounding the MUDA site allotment case has taken a dramatic turn, with complainant Snehamayi Krishna alleging that attempts were made to bribe her to withdraw the case.

Addressing the media in Mysuru, Snehamayi Krishna claimed that former MUDA Commissioner D. B. Natesh tried to contact her through intermediaries and allegedly offered monetary inducements to β€œclose” the case related to irregularities in site allotments.

She also released an audio clip purportedly linked to the development, claiming it substantiates her allegations. β€œWhy does Natesh want to meet me? What does he have to discuss with me?” she questioned, asserting that she would not succumb to any pressure or temptation.

The MUDA site allotment controversy pertains to alleged large-scale irregularities in the distribution of residential sites, with accusations that rules were flouted during the tenure of D.B. Natesh. He is currently facing investigations by the Lokayukta and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the matter.

Snehamayi Krishna alleged that Natesh had asked close associates to arrange a meeting with her to settle the issue. β€œThere has been a clear attempt to silence me with money. But I will not fall prey to any inducement. My legal battle in the MUDA case will continue,” she asserted.

The allegations have intensified political and administrative scrutiny around the case, which has already attracted public attention due to the involvement of senior officials. Authorities are yet to officially respond to the fresh charges or the contents of the audio clip released by the complainant.

The latest claims are expected to further complicate the ongoing investigations into the MUDA site allotment issue, adding a new dimension of alleged bribery and attempted cover-up to the case.
