Aadhaar Linking Mandatory: To continue receiving your LPG gas subsidy directly into your bank account, linking your Aadhaar to your gas connection remains a mandatory requirement under the PAHAL (DBTL) scheme.
As of 2026, the government has further emphasized periodic e-KYC verification to ensure subsidies reach the correct beneficiaries.
To complete this process, two specific forms are used to link your bank account and your LPG distributor.
Form 1 Bank Account Linkage: Links your Aadhaar number to your bank account for receiving Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT). Your Bank Branch or the drop-box at your LPG distributor.
Form 2 LPG Linkage: Links your Aadhaar number directly to your 17-digit LPG Consumer ID. Your LPG Distributor (Indane, HP, or Bharat Gas).
