During this period, strong winds with speeds of 30-40 kilometers per hour are expected in several districts. The monsoon usually arrives early in Kerala, and this year too, the state is experiencing continuous rainfall.
People have been advised to remain vigilant due to the rain and strong winds. Tamil Nadu, which received significant rainfall during the monsoon season, is still experiencing rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall and dust storms in the state from January 26 to 28.
People need to exercise caution in many areas due to the heavy rain and strong winds. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall and hailstorms are likely in several parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between January 26 and 28.
Rainfall warnings have also been issued for Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, and Telangana during the same period. These states are likely to experience a drop in temperature and increased cold due to the rain.
Heavy rainfall alerts have also been issued for Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Puducherry, Rayalaseema, Mahe, Karaikal, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands from January 26 to 28. The meteorological department has appealed to all citizens to take safety precautions and be cautious while traveling if necessary.
The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Rajasthan on January 27, and for the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh on January 27 and 28. Heavy rainfall is also expected in some districts of Bihar on January 28.
