Staff caught filming videos of nurses changing clothes at Bengaluru hospital

Bengaluru: A hospital staff member has been arrested by the police for secretly filming videos of a nurse changing clothes at a private hospital in Nagarbhavi. The arrested individual, identified as Suvendu Mohant, had been working at the hospital for the past year.

The incident came to light when a nurse noticed the suspect recording a video on his mobile phone while she was changing her clothes in a designated area. The nurse reported the incident to the hospital authorities, who escalated the matter to senior doctors.

Dr. Chetan, a senior physician at the hospital, filed a formal complaint against Mohant. Based on the complaint, the Annapurneshwari Nagar police registered a case and arrested the accused, seizing his mobile phone, which contained the illicit videos.

Police are currently investigating the extent of the suspect’s actions. They are trying to determine whether Mohant filmed only the one nurse or if he had recorded videos of other nurses working in the operation theater as well. Investigators are also checking if the videos were shared with anyone else.

This disturbing incident has raised concerns about privacy and security within healthcare institutions, prompting the hospital management to take swift action against the staff member involved.
