Kerala Man Arrested in Sulibele for Brandishing Gun in Public Under Influence of Alcohol

Kerala Man Arrested: In a disturbing incident, a man from Kerala was arrested by Sulibele police for allegedly threatening the public with a gun while intoxicated. The accused, identified as Deepak Krishna, had reportedly been frequenting a local bar near GN Boarding and Lodging for the past three days.

On October 14 around 7:30 PM, Deepak, under the influence of alcohol, began verbally abusing passersby in front of the bar and allegedly brandished a firearm to intimidate them. Witnesses reported that he used abusive language and created panic among the public.

Bar staff immediately alerted Sulibele Police Station. Responding promptly, officers apprehended Deepak Krishna and confiscated the weapon in his possession. An FIR has been registered against him, and further investigation is underway to determine the origin of the firearm and whether it was licensed.

Authorities are also verifying whether the accused has any prior criminal record or connections to unlawful activities. More details are expected as the investigation progresses.
