Former Karkala MLA Gopal Bhandari son commits suicide

Former Karkala MLA, late Gopal Bhandari’s son and businessman Sudeep Bhandari (40 years old) committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on Monday night. His mutilated body was found on the railway tracks near Barkur Udupi districts.

Sudeep Bhandari was running a bar in Hebri. It is suspected that the reason for his suicide was severe financial losses in his business. It is being said that he may have taken this difficult decision due to this reason.

Sudeep was last active on WhatsApp around 7:15 pm on Monday night. He has not been contacted since then. When family and friends searched for him, he was found dead on the railway tracks near Barkur.

Sudeep Bhandari’s body was completely mutilated due to the impact of the train. Police visited the scene and are continuing the investigation.
