TV 9 Kannada reported that a mobile phone belonging to C.N. Chinnayya, the “mask man” in the Dharmasthala case, was found at the residence of Mahesh Shetty Thimarody. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) raided Thimarody’s house in Belthangady after obtaining a search warrant.

The raid was conducted based on Chinnayya’s statement during his interrogation. Chinnayya, who has now been arrested for perjury, reportedly told the SIT that he had been staying at Thimarody’s residence and had left a bag and his mobile phone there.
The SIT, accompanied by Chinnayya, conducted the raid to seize the mobile phone and other items as evidence. The discovery of the phone is considered a significant development in the investigation, as it could provide crucial information about the alleged conspiracy behind the “mass burial” claims. The SIT is expected to analyze the phone’s contents to identify individuals involved and the extent of the conspiracy.
