PM Modi Bengaluru Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bengaluru on Sunday, August 10, for a brief but impactful four-hour visit to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several key infrastructure projects. PM Modi Bengaluru Visit: he will attend 3 programs in 4 hours.

The visit is expected to cause significant traffic disruptions, and a detailed advisory has been issued by the Bengaluru Traffic Police.

PM Narendra Modi Bengaluru Visit schedule:

Morning:

10:30 AM: The Prime Minister will land at HAL Airport. From there, he will travel to the KSR Bengaluru Railway Station by a combination of helicopter and road.

11:00 AM: At KSR Bengaluru Railway Station, he will flag off three new Vande Bharat Express trains:

Bengaluru to Belagavi

Amritsar to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra

Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune

Mid-day:

11:45 AM: The Prime Minister will then travel to the RV Road (Ragigudda) Metro Station.

11:45 AM – 12:50 PM: He will inaugurate the new Yellow Line of the Namma Metro and take a ride on the metro from RV Road to the Electronic City station. The 19.15-kilometer Yellow Line, with 16 stations, will connect RV Road to Bommasandra and is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion, particularly for those working in the city’s tech hubs.

12:50 PM: From the Electronic City metro station, he will travel to the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bengaluru.

Afternoon:

1:00 PM: At IIIT-B, he will officially inaugurate the Yellow Line and lay the foundation stone for Phase 3 of the Bengaluru Metro project. The Phase 3 project is a major expansion, covering over 44 kilometers with 31 stations, and is estimated to cost more than Rs 15,610 crore. He is also expected to address a public gathering.

2:45 PM: PM Modi will depart from Bengaluru for Delhi.

Traffic Advisory: Due to the VVIP movement and expected crowds, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place on several key roads from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Roads to be avoided include Marenahalli Main Road, the Electronic City elevated expressway, Hosur Road, and some internal roads in Electronic City Phase 1. The Bengaluru Traffic Police have provided alternate routes for commuters to minimize inconvenience.
