RCB fans good news: 6 top players enter team for upcoming matches
RCB fans good news: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume from May 17. With the league resuming, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has got a big opportunity as firebrand batsman Tim David will rejoin the team. RCB fans good news: 6 top players enter team for upcoming matches.
David will now partner with Romario Shephard, Jacob Bethell, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt, all of whom are looking to help RCB win their first IPL title. The delay of IPL 2025 due to tensions between India and Pakistan has forced several foreign players to return home.

This includes Tim David and other members of RCB who were in Lucknow for the match against Lucknow Super Giants last Friday. David has been a key performer in RCB’s middle order this year, scoring crucial runs whenever needed.
David has scored 186 runs in 11 matches played this year, including an unbeaten 50 in one innings. He currently averages 93 with a strike rate of 194. Interestingly, his next match for RCB will be his 50th IPL match.
RCB has brought back Romario Shephard and Liam Livingstone, adding to the strength of the team. Nevertheless, the franchise is still worried about the fitness of pacers Josh Hazlewood and Lungi Ngidi.
Hazlewood is recovering from a shoulder injury, but Ngidi’s inclusion in the playoffs is questionable as he has been included in the South African squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
Hazlewood has been in impressive form this season, taking 18 wickets so far. Losing him could put serious pressure on RCB to win their first IPL championship. RCB will continue their league campaign in the Indian Premier League with a match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
If KKR wins, it will strengthen the team because if they lose, KKR will be out of the running to qualify for the qualifying round.
