Huawei Watch GT 7 Series Launched With Up To 21 Days Battery Life And 3000 Nits Display
Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro and Watch GT 7 have launched globally with bright AMOLED displays, long battery life, advanced sensors, GPS support and strong water resistance.

Huawei has expanded its smartwatch lineup globally with the launch of the Watch GT 7 Pro and Watch GT 7 series. The standard Watch GT 7 is available in two sizes, giving users the choice between a larger 46mm model and a more compact 41mm version.
Battery life is one of the biggest highlights across the new watches. Huawei claims that the Watch GT 7 Pro and Watch GT 7 46mm can last up to 21 days with light usage. Under normal usage, the claimed battery life is up to 12 days, while using the Always On Display reduces it to around seven days.
The smaller Watch GT 7 41mm has a shorter battery rating because of its compact size. Huawei claims up to 14 days of light use, seven days under normal use and up to five days with the Always On Display activated. In trail running mode, the 46mm models can reportedly last up to 51 hours, while the 41mm model offers up to 32 hours.
The Watch GT 7 Pro features a 1.47 inch AMOLED display with a 466 by 466 pixel resolution. It offers up to 3000 nits of brightness and a pixel density of 317 PPI. The same display size and resolution are found on the Watch GT 7 46mm, while the smaller Watch GT 7 41mm uses a 1.327 inch AMOLED panel with the same 466 by 466 pixel resolution.
The 41mm version has a higher pixel density of 352 PPI because of its smaller screen. All three models are designed to deliver bright and sharp visuals, with the high brightness rating intended to improve readability outdoors.
The watches also offer a familiar physical control setup. A rotating crown is placed alongside a side button, allowing users to navigate menus and access functions without relying entirely on the touchscreen.
Huawei has paid attention to durability as well. The Watch GT 7 Pro carries 5ATM water resistance and an IP69 rating, while the Watch GT 7 models also come with 5ATM and IP69 protection. The Pro model additionally supports diving down to 40 metres according to the provided specifications.
The Watch GT 7 Pro is designed for use in temperatures ranging from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius. The 46mm and 41mm Watch GT 7 models support the same operating temperature range.
Health and activity tracking are another important part of the lineup. The Watch GT 7 Pro includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate sensor, barometer, temperature sensor, ambient light sensor, ECG sensor and depth sensor.
The Watch GT 7 46mm and 41mm versions include an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate sensor, barometer, temperature sensor and ambient light sensor. These sensors support the watches’ activity tracking and other smart functions.
Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual band GNSS and GPS. This gives the watches support for wireless connections as well as location tracking during outdoor activities.
Compatibility is not limited to Huawei smartphones. The watches support Android 9.0 and newer devices as well as iPhones running iOS 13.0 or later, according to the provided specifications.
In terms of physical dimensions, the Watch GT 7 Pro measures 45.6mm in length and width, with a thickness of 11.25mm. It weighs 55.5 grams and is designed for wrists measuring between 140mm and 210mm.
