Samsung Galaxy Book6 Launched With 14 Inch Display and Intel Core 5 Processor

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Book6 14 inch laptop with Intel Core 5 processing, long battery life, a Full HD camera, and multiple connectivity options.

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book6 range with a new 14 inch model aimed at users looking for a compact laptop with dependable everyday performance. The Samsung Galaxy Book6 combines an Intel Core 5 processor with a lightweight design, a large battery and a range of useful connectivity features.

The laptop has been announced with a starting price of USD 799.99, which is approximately Rs 76,125 based on the conversion provided. Samsung says the device will go on sale from October 5, 2026 through its official website and Amazon. Customers will be able to choose between Violet Silver and Gray finishes.

The display is one of the main features of the new laptop. Samsung Galaxy Book6 carries a 14 inch LCD panel with WUXGA resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels and a peak brightness of 350 nits. The screen is designed for regular productivity tasks such as browsing, office work, watching videos and handling documents.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core 5 processor paired with Intel graphics. It also includes an Intel NPU capable of delivering up to 15 TOPS for supported artificial intelligence workloads. Depending on the configuration, users can get either 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory along with 256GB or 512GB PCIe storage.

Samsung has also kept the Galaxy Book6 fairly portable. The laptop measures 313.0mm in length, 221.0mm in width and 15.7mm in thickness. It weighs around 1.35kg, making it relatively easy to carry between home, college or office.

For video calls, the device gets a 2 megapixel camera capable of recording in 1080p Full HD resolution. A dual array digital microphone is included, while the stereo speaker setup supports Dolby Atmos for a more immersive audio experience.

The connectivity selection is another practical part of the laptop. It includes Wi Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB Type C ports, a USB Type A port, HDMI 1.4 and a headphone and microphone jack. This gives users several options for connecting accessories and external displays without relying heavily on adapters.

Battery life is also a major focus of the Galaxy Book6. The laptop houses a 61.2Wh battery and supports charging through a 45W USB Type C adapter. Samsung claims that the battery can provide up to 25 hours of usage, although actual endurance can vary depending on applications, brightness and other settings.

The laptop runs Windows 11 Home 25H2 or Windows 11 Pro 25H2 in 64 bit form. It also comes with a Pro keyboard and a clickpad trackpad. The keyboard is non backlit, which may be worth considering for users who frequently work in darker surroundings.

With its 14 inch screen, Intel Core 5 processor, LPDDR5X memory options and portable 1.35kg body, the Galaxy Book6 is positioned as an everyday Windows laptop rather than a heavy performance machine. Its combination of battery capacity and connectivity could make it suitable for students and professionals who regularly move between different locations.

The first sale is scheduled for October 5, 2026. With the launch price set at USD 799.99, Samsung is placing the Galaxy Book6 in a competitive segment where portability, battery endurance and modern connectivity are likely to be important factors for buyers.
