Upcoming Smartphones With 10000mAh Batteries From Vivo Oppo And Xiaomi

Smartphone makers are pushing battery capacity to a new level as users increasingly expect their phones to last through demanding work, entertainment and gaming sessions. While 8000mAh and 9000mAh batteries are becoming more common, the next wave of devices could take the figure to 10000mAh.

Several upcoming models from brands including Vivo, Oppo, Redmi and Poco are reportedly being developed with extremely large batteries. Such phones could appeal to people who spend long hours watching videos, playing games, using navigation, attending online meetings or creating content.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is expected to arrive in the global market on August 27. Reports suggest that the phone could feature a 6.8 inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, paired with a massive 10000mAh battery. The handset is also expected to support 100W fast charging.

The Poco X8 Power is another upcoming smartphone linked with a 10000mAh battery. Reports suggest it could feature a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The display may also support 3840Hz PWM dimming and could be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. These features suggest that Poco may be targeting buyers looking for both endurance and a more premium viewing experience.

For photography, the phone is tipped to carry a 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP secondary sensor. A 32MP front camera could handle selfies and video calls. The device may also receive IP68 and IP69 protection.

Why 10000mAh batteries matter
