Motorola Edge 70 Max Set for July 15 Launch With 7100mAh Battery and Premium Display

Motorola is all set to introduce the Edge 70 Max in India on July 15. The smartphone will be unveiled at 12 pm and will be available through Flipkart. Ahead of the official launch, the company has already revealed several key features, giving buyers a clear idea of what its next premium smartphone will offer.

One of the biggest highlights of the Edge 70 Max is its massive 7100mAh battery. Motorola has paired the large battery with 90W wired fast charging support, allowing users to recharge quickly despite the higher battery capacity. The phone is also expected to support 25W magnetic wireless charging, adding greater convenience for everyday use.

Performance is another area where Motorola appears to be focusing. The Edge 70 Max is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a flagship octa core processor built on a 3nm process. The device will also feature 12GB LPDDR5X RAM to handle demanding applications and multitasking with ease. To keep temperatures under control during intensive workloads, Motorola has included a large 5500 square millimeter vapor cooling chamber. According to the company, the smartphone has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than three million.

The display is expected to be one of the standout features of the new phone. Motorola has equipped the Edge 70 Max with a QHD Plus LTPO display that supports a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to deliver peak brightness of up to 7000 nits, making it suitable for outdoor viewing even under strong sunlight. Additional features include DCI P3 wide color coverage, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and an impressive screen to body ratio of 95.12 percent for a more immersive viewing experience.

Although Motorola has not officially confirmed the complete camera specifications, reports suggest the Edge 70 Max could feature a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 710 primary camera with a large 1 by 1.56 inch sensor. More details about the camera system are expected to be announced during the launch event.

The smartphone is also designed with durability in mind. Motorola has used an aluminum alloy frame combined with a glass back panel, giving the device a premium look while maintaining structural strength. The combination is expected to provide a balance between stylish design and long term durability.

Motorola is expected to launch the Edge 70 Max in Green, Light Blue, and Black color options.
