Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus Front Design Leaks Ahead of Expected Launch
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus has appeared in a fresh certification leak revealing its front design while reports also hint at flagship hardware and a possible launch later this year.

Samsung appears to be moving closer to the launch of its next flagship tablet lineup, with the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus making an early appearance through a new certification listing. The latest leak offers the first look at the tablet’s front design, giving fans an idea of what to expect before the official announcement.
The leaked image suggests that Samsung has integrated the front facing camera into the display bezel instead of using a notch or punch hole design. While the certification does not reveal the camera resolution or additional hardware details, the clean front layout indicates that Samsung is continuing its premium design approach for the upcoming tablet.
According to information shared by tipster SammyGuru, the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus carries the model number SM X840 for the WiFi version. The 5G variant is reportedly listed as SM X846N. Both versions have received safety certification in South Korea, indicating that development is progressing and the devices are moving closer to launch.
Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus alongside the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra as part of its next generation flagship tablet family. Although the company has not officially confirmed the lineup, multiple reports suggest both models are currently in the final stages of preparation.
Recent leaks have also hinted at several key specifications. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is expected to feature a flagship octa core processor, with reports pointing to the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm manufacturing process. If accurate, the tablet could deliver improved performance and better power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
The display is also expected to be one of the biggest highlights. Rumors suggest the tablet may include a large 14.6 inch screen, making it suitable for entertainment, productivity, and creative work. Samsung is also tipped to equip the device with a massive 11600mAh battery, which could provide extended usage for both professional and everyday tasks.
Samsung introduced its previous flagship tablet series in September 2025, and industry expectations point to a similar timeline this year. Reports indicate that the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus could make its official debut by the end of September 2026. The company is also expected to expand its smartphone portfolio around the same period, with the Galaxy S26 FE rumored to arrive in October.
While Samsung has yet to confirm the launch date or official specifications, the latest certification and design leak suggest that the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is steadily approaching its official unveiling. More details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks as the launch draws closer.
