OnePlus appears to be preparing its next generation Ace smartphone lineup, and early leaks have revealed several exciting details. Although the company has not officially confirmed the devices, reports suggest the upcoming series may include the standard OnePlus Ace 7 and the premium OnePlus Ace 7 Pro, both expected to bring major upgrades in battery capacity and overall performance.
According to information shared by a well known tipster, engineering prototypes of the new smartphones are currently being tested with Snapdragon processors. One version is said to feature the latest Snapdragon flagship chipset, while another prototype reportedly uses a customized variant of the same platform. These details indicate that OnePlus is focusing heavily on delivering high end performance in its upcoming devices.
One of the biggest highlights of the leaked specifications is the battery. Reports claim the Ace 7 series could pack a massive 9000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries ever seen in a OnePlus smartphone. The devices are also expected to support either 100W or 120W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the large battery in significantly less time.
The display is also expected to receive a substantial upgrade. Leaks suggest the phones may feature a 6.78 inch flat panel with 1.5K resolution and an ultra smooth 185Hz refresh rate. If these specifications become official, users can expect faster scrolling, smoother animations, and an improved gaming experience compared to previous models.
To maintain performance during demanding tasks, OnePlus is reportedly testing active fan cooling technology in the new lineup. This cooling system could help keep temperatures under control during extended gaming sessions or heavy multitasking. The smartphones are also expected to follow a clean and minimalist design language while offering flagship level hardware.
Camera improvements could be another major attraction, especially on the Pro model. The leak suggests the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro may include a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera based on Samsung’s JN5 sensor. The camera is expected to support 3.5 times optical zoom, offering better long distance photography and improved image quality. However, since the phones are still in the prototype stage, the final camera hardware could change before launch.
The latest information aligns with several earlier reports about the Ace 7 series, but OnePlus has not yet announced the devices or confirmed any specifications. As with all early leaks, these details should be treated with caution until the company makes an official announcement.
For comparison, the OnePlus Ace 6 launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 7800mAh battery, while the Ace 6 Ultra arrived later with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor and an 8600mAh battery. Both models featured 165Hz displays, and the next generation appears ready to push those specifications even further if the latest reports prove accurate.
