Bengaluru: Police in Karnataka’s Bengaluru Rural district have registered a criminal case against a man identified as Rakesh following a series of serious allegations, including blackmail, dowry harassment, attempted murder, and exploiting multiple women. The case is being investigated by the Sarjapur Police Station in Anekal taluk.

The complainant further alleged that after she came to know about the accused’s previous relationships and the existence of alleged videos involving other women, he attempted to kill her by pouring petrol on her. Police are treating the allegation as part of the investigation.
