Municipal Crackdown Targets Property of NEET Paper Leak Case Accused
A construction linked to a retired professor accused in the NEET controversy faced demolition action after authorities reported violations of local building regulations during inspection.

A building associated with retired professor P V Kulkarni has come under official scrutiny in Maharashtra, with municipal authorities demolishing portions they claim were constructed without proper approvals.
The property stands in Shahunagar area of Beed district, where Kulkarni had been developing a multi storey structure on land belonging to his family. Officials said an inspection revealed deviations from sanctioned construction norms.
After issuing formal notices, municipal teams launched an enforcement drive and used bulldozers to remove the sections identified as unauthorized. The operation was carried out in accordance with local civic regulations, authorities stated.
The development has attracted attention because Kulkarni is among the individuals named in the high profile NEET paper leak investigation. The case has generated nationwide debate over examination security and transparency.
Questions surrounding the examination surfaced after allegations emerged that the test paper had been leaked before the exam. In response, authorities reviewed the situation and later decided to cancel the examination and schedule a fresh test.
The investigation remains active, with the Central Bureau of Investigation continuing to pursue leads in the case. Several arrests have already been made as officials work to determine the scope of the alleged examination fraud.
