Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 Launches in India with Powerful Snapdragon Chip and Massive Battery
New premium tablet from Lenovo arrives in India featuring high refresh display large battery fast charging and AI features targeting productivity and entertainment users in the premium segment

The Indian tablet market has received a fresh addition as Lenovo officially launches the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2. Positioned as a performance focused device, the new tablet aims to attract users looking for a mix of entertainment, productivity, and long battery life in a single device.
One of the key highlights of the tablet is its large 13 inch 3.5K display, which supports a 144 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. With high brightness levels and sharp pixel density, the screen is designed to deliver a smooth and immersive viewing experience, whether for streaming, reading, or creative work.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with an Adreno 825 GPU, making it capable of handling demanding applications and multitasking with ease. The inclusion of AI based features such as Circle to Search adds a layer of smart functionality that enhances user convenience.
The tablet also focuses heavily on audio and multimedia experience. It comes equipped with four JBL speakers supported by Dolby Atmos, offering a richer and more immersive sound output. This makes it suitable not only for work but also for movies and gaming.
Battery life is another strong point. The device packs a massive 10200 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging, ensuring extended usage with reduced charging time. Despite its large battery, the tablet maintains a slim profile and weighs around 598 grams, making it relatively easy to carry.
Photography and video calling needs are handled by a 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an 8 megapixel front camera. While not designed primarily for photography, the setup is sufficient for everyday use, online meetings, and scanning tasks.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is available in a single configuration with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, priced at 39999 rupees. Early buyers can also benefit from a 3000 rupees instant bank discount, making the initial offer more attractive.
Sales for the tablet will begin from May 1 across Lenovo’s official website, online platforms, and selected retail stores. Buyers will also have multiple color options including Cloud Grey, Luna Grey, and Jelly Mint.
Connectivity options include Wi Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type C support, along with sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, and hall sensor. The device also supports a 2 in 1 keyboard pack with touchpad, targeting users who want a laptop like experience.
Lenovo has also committed to long term software support, promising two major OS upgrades and four years of security updates, which adds value for users planning to keep the device for an extended period.
With its combination of performance hardware, large display, strong battery, and productivity focused features, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 positions itself as a premium option in India’s growing tablet segment.
