Vivo T5x, T5 Lite And T4 Lite Get Costlier By Up To ₹5,000
Vivo has raised prices for three T series smartphones, with the T5x seeing the biggest increase while all three models continue to focus on large batteries and rugged protection.
Vivo has revised the prices of three smartphones in its T series, making the Vivo T5x, Vivo T5 Lite and Vivo T4 Lite more expensive in India. The latest change affects multiple RAM and storage configurations across the three models.
The biggest increase has been reported for the Vivo T5x, while the T5 Lite and T4 Lite have also received significant price hikes. The company has reportedly informed its authorised channel partners about the revised pricing, citing higher input and operational costs.
Vivo T5x gets the biggest price hike
The Vivo T5x has seen the sharpest increase among the three phones. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has moved from ₹24,999 to ₹29,999, representing a ₹5,000 increase.
The 8GB RAM and 128GB version has gone from ₹27,999 to ₹32,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB model has increased from ₹30,999 to ₹35,999.
Despite the higher price, the T5x continues to stand out for its large battery. It packs a 7200mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support and features a 6.76 inch FHD Plus LCD display.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth camera, along with a 32MP front camera. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 Plus protection and MIL STD 810H certification.
Vivo T5 Lite sees a ₹4,000 increase
The Vivo T5 Lite has also become noticeably more expensive. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version now costs ₹23,999 compared with its earlier price of ₹19,999.
The 6GB RAM and 128GB model has increased from ₹21,999 to ₹25,999. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM and 256GB variant has moved from ₹24,999 to ₹28,999.
The T5 Lite features a 6500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge and a 6.74 inch FHD Plus LCD screen. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset.
For photography, the phone comes with a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Its durability features include IP65 protection and MIL STD 810H certification.
T4 Lite also gets a price revision
The Vivo T4 Lite has received a price increase of up to ₹3,000 across its variants. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is now priced at ₹19,999, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB version costs ₹21,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB variant has reached ₹23,999.
The phone comes with a 6000mAh battery and supports 90Hz refresh rate on its 6.74 inch HD Plus LCD display. Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor.
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front camera. For added durability, Vivo has provided MIL STD 810H certification along with an IP64 rating.
The price revision means buyers looking at these three Vivo smartphones will now have to spend more than before. Among them, the T5x has received the largest increase, while its combination of a 7200mAh battery and rugged protection remains its biggest selling point.
