Vivo T5 Lite 5G Confirmed to Launch on July 16 With 6500mAh Battery and 44W Fast Charging

Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will make its debut in India on July 16 at 12 pm. The smartphone is positioned as a feature packed option for users who want dependable battery life, modern connectivity and AI powered features without compromising on durability. It will succeed the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which entered the Indian market last year.

One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming smartphone is its massive 6500mAh battery. Vivo says the device is built for users who spend long hours on entertainment, gaming, streaming and daily tasks. To reduce charging time, the phone also supports 44W fast charging, making it more convenient for people with busy schedules.

The smartphone is expected to deliver a smoother viewing experience with its 120Hz display. Vivo has also confirmed that the screen can reach up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, allowing better visibility even under direct sunlight. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which is designed to offer reliable 5G connectivity along with efficient everyday performance.

Vivo has also focused on making the phone more durable. The T5 Lite 5G is built to meet military grade durability standards and comes with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Official teaser images show the smartphone in Light Blue and Black colour options with a dual rear camera setup.

On the software side, the device will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android. The company has confirmed several AI powered features that are aimed at improving everyday productivity. These include AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents and Private Space, giving users additional tools for work and personal use.

After its official launch, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will be available through Flipkart, the Vivo India online store and authorised offline retail outlets across the country. The new model arrives as the successor to the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which was introduced with a starting price of Rs 9999. The previous generation featured a 50 megapixel dual rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, an IP64 rated body and a 6.74 inch HD Plus display with a 90Hz refresh rate. With a larger battery, faster charging, an upgraded display and enhanced software features, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G aims to deliver a noticeable improvement over its predecessor.
