Samsung Increases Prices of Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G in India

Samsung has raised prices of its Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G smartphones by Rs 500, making the popular budget devices slightly more expensive for buyers.

Samsung has revised the pricing of two of its popular budget 5G smartphones in India, bringing a surprise for customers planning a purchase. The company has increased the prices of both the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G across all available variants. The revised rates came into effect on June 8, meaning buyers will now have to spend more than before to get these devices.

The price revision affects every storage option in both smartphone lineups. While the increase is relatively small at Rs 500 per variant, it marks a notable change in the highly competitive budget 5G segment where pricing often plays a major role in purchase decisions.

Samsung Galaxy A07 5G has also received a similar price adjustment. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which was previously available at Rs 16,499, will now retail for Rs 16,999. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM and 128GB version has moved from Rs 18,499 to Rs 18,999. The device has attracted attention in the affordable smartphone market thanks to its large display, capable camera system and massive battery capacity.

The Galaxy A06 5G lineup has seen all variants become more expensive. The entry level 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model now costs Rs 13,999, up from its earlier price of Rs 13,499. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version has increased to Rs 15,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant is now priced at Rs 17,999. Each configuration has received the same Rs 500 price hike.

Despite the revised pricing, both smartphones continue to offer features that have made them popular among budget conscious consumers. Samsung has focused on delivering long term software support, reliable performance and large battery capacities, helping the devices stand out in a crowded market.

The Galaxy A07 5G is equipped with a substantial 6000mAh battery designed for extended usage, making it attractive for users who prioritize battery life. The Galaxy A06 5G, on the other hand, features a 5000mAh battery that still provides all day performance for most users. Both smartphones support modern connectivity standards and are aimed at first time 5G buyers.

Photography remains another key selling point. Samsung has included a 50MP primary rear camera on both devices, allowing users to capture detailed photos in a variety of conditions. For selfies and video calls, each phone is equipped with an 8MP front camera.

The two smartphones also share several core specifications. Both feature a 6.7 inch HD Plus display that offers a large viewing area for entertainment, browsing and gaming. Powering the devices is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a chipset designed to deliver smooth everyday performance while supporting 5G connectivity.

Additional features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner for convenient security, a USB Type C port and Samsung’s One UI software interface, which provides a clean and user friendly experience. The company has also emphasized long term software support, with multiple years of operating system and security updates promised for eligible users.

While the price increase may disappoint some potential buyers, Samsung appears confident that the combination of dependable hardware, large batteries, 5G connectivity and software support will continue to make the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G attractive options in the affordable smartphone category. For customers considering either device, the new pricing is already in effect across retail and online channels.
