Infinix Smart 20 Debuts in India With Offline Calling and 120Hz Display at Budget Price
Infinix Smart 20 arrives with a 120Hz display, 5200mAh battery, AI features, offline calling support and slim waterproof design, aiming to strengthen competition in the budget segment.

Infinix has expanded its budget smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the new Smart 20, a device that combines modern features, a slim profile and practical innovations at an affordable price point. Positioned as the successor to the Smart 10, the latest model brings several upgrades, including a faster display, larger battery and enhanced software experience.
One of the most talked about features of the Infinix Smart 20 is its UltraLink technology. This feature allows compatible Infinix devices to stay connected over distances of up to one kilometer without relying on a mobile network. Functioning similarly to a walkie talkie system, it offers a useful communication option in areas with weak or unavailable cellular coverage.
The smartphone features a sleek design with a thickness of just 7.7mm, making it one of the slimmest devices in its category. Despite its slim build, Infinix has included an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. The rear panel carries a textured finish that gives the device a more premium appearance than its price tag might suggest.
On the front, the Smart 20 sports a large 6.78 inch HD Plus IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen adopts a center punch hole design and supports brightness levels of up to 700 nits, helping improve visibility in outdoor environments. Infinix has also included its Dynamic Bar feature, which displays notifications and system information in a more interactive way.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor, an octa core chipset designed to handle everyday tasks and casual gaming efficiently. The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and supports virtual memory expansion through MemFusion technology, allowing users to experience up to 8GB of combined memory performance. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB variants, while a microSD card slot enables expansion of up to 2TB.
Battery life remains a major highlight of the Smart 20. The smartphone packs a 5200mAh battery that is designed to comfortably last through a full day of usage. It supports 15W fast charging and also offers 5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge accessories or other devices when needed.
For photography, the phone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an additional sensor and LED flash. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and social media content. The camera application includes features such as Super Night Mode, Dual Video and Vlog Mode, providing additional creative tools for photography enthusiasts.
The Smart 20 runs on Android 16 based XOS 16 and includes several AI driven features aimed at improving everyday usability. Smart Noise Cancellation helps deliver clearer voice calls by reducing background noise, while a side mounted fingerprint scanner offers quick and secure access to the device.
Additional features include stereo speakers, DTS audio support, FM radio functionality, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an infrared sensor. Together, these additions help the phone stand out in the crowded budget smartphone market.
Infinix has launched the Smart 20 in two configurations. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 12,499, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs 13,999. The smartphone will go on sale from June 12 through Flipkart and the official Infinix India website. Buyers can choose from four color options including Sunlike Orange, Cloudline Blue, Shadow Black and Polaris Titanium.
With its combination of offline communication technology, high refresh rate display, durable design and long lasting battery, the Infinix Smart 20 aims to deliver features typically seen in higher priced devices while remaining accessible to budget conscious consumers.
