Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 Prices Leak Ahead of Launch Event
Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones and smartwatches have appeared online with expected European prices and storage options, revealing details before the official Galaxy Unpacked event.
Samsung is preparing to unveil its latest lineup of premium devices at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the launch, leaked information has revealed the possible prices and storage variants of the company’s next generation foldable smartphones and smartwatches.
A listing spotted on Portuguese retailer PCDiga has reportedly revealed expected pricing for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Tipster Roland Quandt shared details of the retailer page, although the listed prices include Portugal’s 23 percent VAT, which makes them higher compared to some other markets.
According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 could arrive with a starting price of EUR 1,349, which is around Rs 1.48 lakh, for the 256GB storage model. The higher 512GB variant may cost EUR 1,549, approximately Rs 1.71 lakh.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be positioned as Samsung’s premium book style foldable smartphone. The 256GB storage variant may be priced at EUR 2,069, around Rs 2.28 lakh, while the 512GB model could cost EUR 2,269, close to Rs 2.50 lakh. The top end 1TB storage version may come with a price tag of EUR 2,669, around Rs 2.94 lakh.
Samsung is also rumored to introduce a more advanced foldable model called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra this year. The leaked pricing suggests that its 256GB variant could cost EUR 2,269, while the 512GB and 1TB versions may be priced at EUR 2,469 and EUR 2,869 respectively. These prices translate to nearly Rs 2.72 lakh and Rs 3.16 lakh.
Along with smartphones, Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch lineup has also appeared in the leak. The Galaxy Watch 9 40mm Bluetooth model is expected to start at EUR 409.90, which is around Rs 45,000. The larger 44mm Bluetooth version may be priced at EUR 439.90, approximately Rs 48,000.
The premium Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 with a 47mm LTE model could carry an expected price of EUR 749.90, which is close to Rs 83,000.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the pricing or specifications of these upcoming devices yet. The final details are expected to be revealed during the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company will showcase its latest foldable technology and wearable products.
