Poco M8s Launch Expected Soon After NBTC Certification Listing
Poco M8s appears on NBTC certification site hinting at upcoming launch as the M series expands with new model expected to bring upgraded connectivity, design and performance focused features for users

The smartphone lineup from Poco seems to be expanding once again, as a new device from the M series has surfaced online. The upcoming model, expected to be called Poco M8s, has recently been spotted on the NBTC certification website, suggesting that its launch could be around the corner.
This development comes shortly after the launch of the Poco M8 earlier this year in India. The existing model is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and has been positioned as a mid range 5G smartphone with a strong focus on performance and battery life. Now, attention is shifting toward the next addition in the lineup.
According to certification details, the Poco M8s carries the model number Poco 26067PC09G and supports multiple connectivity options including 4G, 5G, NR and GSM networks. The listing also indicates that the device has been manufactured in China and has received certification under the number B38253 26, further confirming its legitimacy.
While official specifications have not been revealed yet, industry expectations suggest that the Poco M8s could be launched at a more affordable price point compared to the standard M8. This would help Poco strengthen its position in the competitive mid range segment, where pricing plays a key role in consumer choice.
For reference, the Poco M8 5G is currently available in India in multiple configurations, with prices starting at around 18,999 rupees for the base variant. It is offered in color options such as Frost Silver, Glacier Blue and Carbon Black, giving users a variety of design choices.
The existing Poco M8 features a 6.77 inch Full HD Plus 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 3200 nits. It runs on Android 15 based HyperOS 2.0 and is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, making it suitable for everyday multitasking and gaming.
On the camera front, the device includes a dual rear setup with a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 20 megapixel front camera capable of recording up to 4K video. It also includes a 5520 mAh battery with fast charging support and reverse charging capabilities.
As the Poco M8s moves closer to launch, more details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks. The certification listing strongly indicates that the device is in its final stages before official announcement, building anticipation among Poco fans looking for a budget friendly upgrade in the M series.
