Oppo Enco Air 5s Arrive With Dual Device Connectivity and Advanced Noise Reduction

Oppo has expanded its audio lineup with the new Enco Air 5s earbuds featuring active noise cancellation, AI powered calling, spatial audio support and battery backup that lasts nearly two full days.

Oppo has officially introduced its latest true wireless stereo earbuds, the Oppo Enco Air 5s, bringing a mix of premium audio features and long battery life to the mid range segment. The new earbuds were launched alongside the latest Reno 16 smartphone series and are already drawing attention for their AI backed call clarity and dual device connectivity support.

The company is positioning the Enco Air 5s as an all round package for users who frequently switch between devices and want uninterrupted audio for music, gaming and calls. Oppo claims the earbuds can deliver up to 48 hours of total battery backup with the charging case, making them suitable for long travel and daily heavy usage.

The earbuds feature a semi in ear design and come equipped with 12 mm dynamic drivers along with dual channel stereo audio output. Oppo says the tuning has been designed to offer balanced sound with improved bass and vocal clarity. The earbuds support a frequency response range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, helping users experience detailed sound across different genres of music.

One of the major highlights of the Enco Air 5s is its active noise cancellation technology. The earbuds can intelligently switch between deep noise reduction, light noise filtering and transparency mode depending on the surrounding environment. This allows users to either block external disturbances completely or stay aware of nearby sounds while listening to music.

For voice calls, Oppo has added a three microphone setup along with ENC call noise reduction technology. The company says the AI powered system helps reduce surrounding background noise during conversations, improving voice clarity in crowded areas or outdoor conditions.

The Enco Air 5s also support spatial audio, a feature that creates a wider and more immersive listening experience while watching movies or gaming. Oppo has included sliding touch controls for adjusting volume and managing playback directly from the earbuds without needing to access the smartphone frequently.

Another feature aimed at convenience is dual device connectivity. Users can connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously and switch between them without repeated pairing. This can be especially useful for people who move between laptops, tablets and smartphones throughout the day.

According to Oppo, the earbuds use Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and support a transmission range of up to 10 meters. Pairing is expected to be quick and stable during regular usage.

Battery performance is another area where the Enco Air 5s try to stand out. Each earbud packs a 40.5 mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 530 mAh unit. Oppo says the earbuds alone can provide up to nine hours of music playback on a single charge. Combined with the case, the total battery life can stretch up to 48 hours.

The charging case supports USB Type C charging and the company claims the complete charging process for both the case and earbuds takes around 90 minutes. Despite the large battery setup, the overall weight remains light at approximately 38.7 grams.

Oppo has launched the Enco Air 5s in multiple color options including Star Purple, Moonlight White and Dark Night Black. The Star Purple edition carries a slightly higher price tag compared to the other variants in the Chinese market.

With features like spatial audio, AI call enhancement, active noise cancellation and extended battery life, the Oppo Enco Air 5s appear to target users looking for premium features without entering the ultra premium price segment.
