OnePlus N6x Set for India Launch This Week With AI Features and Massive Battery
OnePlus is preparing to launch the affordable N6x in India this week with AI photography tools a large battery smooth display and a design focused on everyday performance.

OnePlus is gearing up to expand its affordable smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new OnePlus N6x. The company has already confirmed several key features ahead of the official unveiling, highlighting a combination of AI powered capabilities, a long lasting battery and a modern design aimed at everyday users. The smartphone is scheduled to debut in India on July 31, while sales are expected to begin from August 4.
One of the biggest attractions of the OnePlus N6x is its massive 7000mAh battery. According to the company, the phone can last up to two and a half days on a single charge under typical usage. OnePlus also claims the battery is capable of delivering more than 20 hours of video playback, over 133 hours of music playback, around 25 hours of social media browsing and more than 11 hours of video recording, making it a strong choice for users who prioritize battery life.
The upcoming handset will also introduce several artificial intelligence powered features designed to improve the photography experience. AI Portrait Glow and AI Unblur are among the confirmed tools that will help users enhance portraits and sharpen blurry images without requiring advanced editing skills. These features are expected to make everyday photography easier and more effective.
The OnePlus N6x will feature a flat display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, promising smoother scrolling, responsive gaming and a better viewing experience. The device is expected to offer a clean and modern interface while maintaining the user friendly software experience associated with the brand.
In terms of design, the smartphone carries a familiar look with a textured flat rear panel and a pill shaped camera module housing a dual rear camera setup alongside an LED flash. The OnePlus branding is positioned at the center of the back panel, while the power button and volume controls are placed on the right side. The overall appearance closely resembles the recently introduced OnePlus Nord CE 6.
The phone will be available in Ice Blue and Burgundy Red color options, giving buyers a choice between a vibrant and a more classic finish. Although the company has not yet revealed the complete hardware specifications or official pricing, the device is expected to target the affordable smartphone segment.
The launch follows the recent arrival of the OnePlus N6 in India, which debuted with a 6.75 inch HD plus LCD display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1200 nits. The N6 runs Android 16 based OxygenOS 16 and includes a 50 megapixel rear camera. It was introduced with a starting price of Rs 22999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM model was priced at Rs 24999.
With AI driven software enhancements, a high capacity battery and a competitive feature set, the OnePlus N6x is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the budget smartphone market. More details, including pricing and full specifications, will be announced at the official launch event later this week.
