iQOO Z11xa 5G Launched In India With 7200mAh Battery

iQOO has quietly expanded its Z11 smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11xa 5G. Unlike some major smartphone launches that arrive with large events and extensive promotions, the new model has been introduced without a big launch gathering.

The phone is aimed at buyers who want a large battery without moving too far into the premium price segment. Its 7200mAh battery is the main attraction, while the device also brings a high refresh rate display, a MediaTek 5G processor and a Sony camera.

The iQOO Z11xa 5G has been priced at Rs 27499 in India. It comes in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Buyers can choose between Titan Black and Prismatic Green colour options.

Sales will begin on September 14 through Amazon as part of an Amazon Special launch. This gives customers another option in the growing segment of smartphones that focus heavily on battery capacity and everyday performance.

One of the more interesting claims made by iQOO concerns charging. The phone supports 44W FlashCharge, and the company says a 10 minute charge can provide enough power for up to six hours of calling. Actual results can vary depending on network conditions, usage and other factors, but the feature could be useful when users need a quick boost.

The large battery also supports Bypass Charging and Reverse Charging. Battery protection features are included as well, while iQOO says the battery is designed to maintain its health for up to six years under its stated testing conditions.

For the display, the phone uses a 6.76 inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2344 by 1080 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 1200 nits in High Brightness Mode, according to the company.

The display also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. This is intended to reduce exposure to certain blue light levels and may make extended viewing more comfortable for some users.

However, the phone does not use an AMOLED panel. Buyers who particularly prefer deeper blacks and the stronger contrast generally associated with AMOLED screens will need to consider this difference before making a purchase.

Performance comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo 5G processor. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and is paired with 8GB RAM. Storage is limited to 128GB in the Indian configuration.

iQOO has also included Ultra Game Mode for users who spend more time gaming on their phones. The company says the feature is designed to help with frame rate stability and touch response during gameplay.

Photography is handled by a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera on the rear. It is accompanied by a 2MP Bokeh camera for depth related shots. On the front, the phone gets a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Another notable feature is video recording support. Both the front and rear cameras can record video in 4K, giving users more flexibility when recording content or making video calls and other recordings.

The camera system also includes several AI based features aimed at improving photographs and portrait images. These tools are intended to assist with image processing rather than replace the cameras hardware capabilities.

iQOO has paid considerable attention to durability as well. The Z11xa 5G comes with IP68 and IP69 Plus ratings for dust and water resistance. It also carries SGS 5 Star durability certification and has undergone military grade testing, according to the company.

On the software side, the smartphone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. The software package includes features such as Circle to Search, AI Captions, AI Creation and AI Transcript Assist.

The company has promised four years of security updates for the device. This could be an important consideration for buyers planning to keep the phone for several years rather than replacing it quickly.

The iQOO Z11xa 5G also becomes the fourth model in the companys Z11 family to reach the Indian market. Earlier models in the series include the Z11x, Z11 Lite and Z11.

With its combination of a 7200mAh battery, 120Hz display, 5G processor, 50MP Sony camera and durability ratings, the new phone is clearly focused on practical features. The LCD panel and single storage option are areas buyers may want to consider, but the battery capacity remains its biggest selling point.

At Rs 27499, the iQOO Z11xa 5G enters a competitive part of the Indian smartphone market. Its final appeal will depend not only on the specifications but also on how it performs in everyday use once sales begin.
