Honor Pad X9 Max Debuts With Large Display Massive Battery and Affordable Pricing

Honor has introduced the Pad X9 Max with a spacious 13 inch display powerful battery Snapdragon processor Android 16 software and productivity features targeting entertainment students and everyday users worldwide

Honor has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the Honor Pad X9 Max, adding a new premium option to the popular Pad X9 series. After introducing the Honor Pad X9 in 2023 and the Pad X9a in 2025, the company has surprised users with another model that focuses on a larger display, long battery life, and enhanced productivity features. The tablet has made its global debut in the United Kingdom and is expected to appeal to users looking for a balance between entertainment and work.

One of the biggest attractions of the Honor Pad X9 Max is its expansive 13 inch LCD display. The screen offers a resolution of 2500 x 1560 pixels and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and gaming. With a peak brightness of 700 nits and support for 1.07 billion colors, the display is designed to deliver vibrant visuals. Honor has also included eye comfort technologies such as a paper like reading mode, DC dimming, low blue light protection, and TÜV Rheinland certification for a flicker free viewing experience. The tablet also features an impressive 88 percent screen to body ratio, making content consumption more immersive.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Users who require additional space can expand storage through a microSD card up to 2TB. This combination is expected to provide reliable performance for multitasking, online learning, streaming, and everyday applications.

Battery life is another area where the Honor Pad X9 Max stands out. It packs a large 10100mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, allowing users to spend less time connected to a charger. According to the company, the tablet can deliver up to 16 hours of video playback or around 13 hours of reading on a single charge, making it suitable for extended work sessions or long journeys.

The tablet ships with Android 16 based MagicOS 10 and introduces several software features aimed at improving productivity. Users can take advantage of AI Memo, desktop style file management, and seamless file sharing across Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, and macOS devices. These additions make the tablet useful for both personal and professional tasks.

For photography and video calls, the Honor Pad X9 Max includes a 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. While cameras are not the primary focus of the device, they are capable of handling online meetings, virtual classes, and casual photography.

Honor has also equipped the tablet with four speakers featuring IMAX Enhanced support to deliver an immersive audio experience. Additional features include Wi Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type C charging port, and compatibility with the optional Honor Magic Pencil 4s stylus and Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. The aluminum body measures just 6.72mm thick and weighs approximately 618 grams, offering a premium yet portable design.

The Honor Pad X9 Max is available in a gray color option. In the United Kingdom, the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at £349.99, while the higher end 6GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs £449.99. Although the tablet is already listed on Honor’s UK website, sales have not yet begun. The company has also not announced pricing, availability, or launch plans for other international markets.
