Five smartphones from Infinix, Vivo, Redmi and POCO are set for their first sales in India, bringing different prices, large batteries, fast charging and attractive offers soon for Indian buyers.

If you have been waiting to buy a new smartphone, the coming days could offer several options across different price segments. Five phones from Infinix, Vivo, Redmi and POCO are scheduled to go on their first sale in India this week.

The list includes the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G, Vivo T5 5G, Redmi 17 5G, POCO X8 5G and POCO X8 Power 5G. Each model comes with a different combination of specifications, pricing and launch offers, giving buyers several choices depending on their budget and requirements.

The first phone to reach buyers will be the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G. It will be available in India from September 7 through Flipkart and retail stores across the country. The starting price for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is Rs 22,999. An 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version will also be sold.

Infinix is offering the phone in Silk Glow Purple, Dive Blue, Thermo Orange and Mirage Green. Buyers can also get a no cost EMI option for up to nine months, subject to the applicable terms.

The Vivo T5 5G will follow on September 9. The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options.

Vivo has positioned the T5 5G across several configurations. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model starts at Rs 34,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version costs Rs 39,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 44,999, while the top 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs 49,999.

There is also a bank offer for buyers. Customers using eligible Axis Bank, SBI or HDFC Bank cards can receive an instant discount of up to Rs 4,000.

The Redmi 17 5G is scheduled to go on sale from September 10. Customers will be able to purchase the phone through Amazon and Xiaomi’s online store.

The base Redmi 17 5G variant comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and has a listed price of Rs 39,999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs 41,999. However, the company has announced net effective prices of Rs 23,999 and Rs 26,999 respectively after applicable offers.

The phone will be available in Absolute Black, Endless Blue and Eternal Orange. This makes the Redmi 17 5G another option for buyers looking at a phone with a relatively lower effective launch price.

The biggest battery focused launch in this group comes from POCO. The POCO X8 5G and POCO X8 Power 5G will both go on sale in India from September 11 through Flipkart.

The POCO X8 starts at Rs 29,999, while the POCO X8 Power starts at Rs 35,999. POCO is offering a Rs 2,000 coupon discount along with an additional Rs 1,000 exchange bonus. After these offers, the effective starting prices can come down to Rs 26,999 for the X8 and Rs 32,999 for the X8 Power, subject to eligibility.

The two POCO smartphones share several features, including a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display. Both are also expected to receive four operating system upgrades and six years of security updates.

The chipset choice separates the two models. The POCO X8 Power uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, while the POCO X8 is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.

Both smartphones feature dual rear cameras with a 50 megapixel primary sensor and optical image stabilisation. The X8 Power gets a 32 megapixel front camera, while the standard X8 has a 16 megapixel selfie camera.

Battery capacity is where the POCO X8 Power stands out. It comes with a massive 10,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging along with 27W wired reverse charging.

The POCO X8 also carries a large 9,000mAh battery. It supports 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.

With five smartphones arriving for their first sales within a few days, buyers have several choices ranging from different price points to models focused on battery capacity, camera hardware and charging speeds.

The final choice will depend on budget and the features that matter most to each buyer. Customers should also check the applicable bank, exchange and other launch conditions before calculating the final purchase price.
