Dell Launches XPS 13, 14S and 16S Laptops With AI Power and Up to 17 Hours Battery Life

Dell has expanded its premium laptop lineup in India with the launch of the new Dell XPS 13, Dell 14S and Dell 16S. The latest models are designed to meet the needs of professionals, students, content creators and business users looking for powerful performance, modern AI capabilities and premium build quality. With upgraded processors, high quality displays and extended battery life, Dell aims to offer a versatile range of laptops for different types of users.

The new lineup includes the compact XPS 13 for users who value portability, while the Dell 14S and Dell 16S cater to those who need larger displays and enhanced productivity features. All three laptops combine premium design with advanced hardware to handle everyday tasks, creative workloads and AI powered applications.

The Dell XPS 13 starts at a price of ₹79,990 and is available in Sky and Storm finishes. The Dell 14S carries a starting price of ₹1,19,990, while the larger Dell 16S begins at ₹2,29,990. Both the 14S and 16S are offered in Celestial Blue and Frost Blue color options. The laptops are available through Dell Exclusive Stores and Dell online channels, while Intel powered versions of the Dell 14S will also be sold through retail and multi brand outlets.

The XPS 13 features a 13.4 inch 2.5K InfinityEdge LCD touch display with a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz. The panel offers 500 nits peak brightness and complete DCI P3 color coverage, making it suitable for multimedia consumption and creative work. Buyers can choose between Intel Core Series 3 and Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, paired with up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory and integrated Intel graphics. Dell says select configurations equipped with the Core Ultra Series 3 processors will arrive at a later date.

Connectivity on the XPS 13 includes USB Type C ports with Thunderbolt support on selected models along with Intel Wi Fi 7. The laptop features a CNC machined aluminum chassis, a backlit keyboard and a large Windows precision touchpad. Dell also highlights its environmental certifications, including Energy Star and EPEAT Gold. According to the company, the laptop can deliver up to 17 hours of streaming on a single charge while maintaining a slim 12.7mm profile and a lightweight one kilogram design.

The Dell 14S is built around a 14 inch Full HD Plus OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 400 nits brightness. It supports Dolby Vision and delivers full DCI P3 color coverage for vibrant visuals. Customers can configure the laptop with either Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series chips. It also includes an AI engine capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS for supported workloads.

Dell has equipped the 14S with multiple connectivity options including USB Type C, dual USB Type A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a universal headset jack. A 70Wh battery with 65W USB Type C charging powers the device. The laptop uses recycled aluminum and plastic materials in its construction, reflecting Dell’s continued focus on sustainability. It measures 15.3mm in thickness and weighs approximately 1.46kg.

For users seeking a larger display and stronger graphics performance, Dell has introduced the 16S. It comes with a 16 inch 2.8K OLED touch display supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and complete DCI P3 color coverage. Similar to the 14S, it is available with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors and includes an AI engine capable of up to 50 TOPS.

Dell states that the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H powered version of the 16S delivers significantly better graphics performance compared to the previous generation. The laptop includes the same 70Wh battery with 65W USB Type C charging, a wide range of connectivity ports and an eco friendly design using recycled materials. Despite its larger display, it maintains a relatively slim 15.3mm profile and weighs around 1.77kg.

With the introduction of the XPS 13, Dell 14S and Dell 16S, Dell is strengthening its premium notebook portfolio in India. The combination of AI ready processors, high refresh rate displays, long battery life and lightweight designs makes these laptops attractive options for users looking for dependable performance across work, study and entertainment.
