Vivo S2 Leak Reveals Massive 7050mAh Battery Ahead of Expected India Launch

Vivo is once again making headlines ahead of the expected launch of its upcoming Vivo S2 smartphone. A fresh round of leaks has revealed live images, key specifications, the retail box MRP and even possible pricing details, giving smartphone enthusiasts a better idea of what the company could be preparing. While Vivo has not officially confirmed the complete specifications, the latest information suggests that the device will arrive with several premium features aimed at the upper midrange segment.

The newly leaked live images closely match the renders that surfaced earlier. The Vivo S2 appears to feature a sleek flat rear panel with a horizontally placed camera module at the top. Two large camera sensors and an LED flash are neatly integrated into the design, while the front of the phone houses a curved display with a centered punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. The overall appearance gives the handset a modern and premium look.

According to details shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Vivo S2 is expected to feature a 6.83 inch curved POLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Such a display could deliver vibrant colors, fluid animations and an enhanced viewing experience for gaming, video streaming and everyday browsing.

Performance is also expected to receive a major boost. The leaked About Phone screen indicates that the Vivo S2 may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo octa core processor. The chipset is expected to deliver efficient multitasking and solid gaming performance while maintaining better power efficiency. The leaked unit reportedly includes 8GB of RAM along with support for virtual RAM expansion, allowing users to keep more applications active in the background. Internal storage is expected to start at 128GB.

One of the biggest highlights of the leaked specifications is the enormous 7050mAh battery. If the information proves accurate, the Vivo S2 could become one of the smartphones with the largest batteries in its segment. The device is also expected to support 44W fast charging, helping users recharge the large battery more quickly and reduce downtime.

Photography appears to be another important focus for Vivo. The handset is rumored to feature a 50 megapixel Sony IMX852 primary camera accompanied by a 2 megapixel secondary sensor. However, industry observers point out that printed MRP values are usually much higher than the actual retail price. Current reports suggest the Vivo S2 could launch in India at a price between ₹40,000 and ₹45,000, making it significantly more affordable than the printed box price.

The leaks also claim that Vivo could introduce a new pair of wireless earbuds alongside the smartphone. The upcoming Vivo Buds are expected to feature 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity and up to 50 hours of total battery life with the charging case. The earbuds may be offered in Basalt Black and Nilgiri Green color options.

Although these specifications have generated considerable excitement, Vivo has not officially confirmed any of the leaked details. The company recently teased the smartphone by revealing part of its camera module along with a Coming Soon message, suggesting that the official launch announcement may not be far away.
