A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Rural, Mandya, Mysore, Ramanagara, Tumkur, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Chamarajanagar, Davangere, Kolar, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Shivamoga districts from today till November 10.

The India Meteorological Department has informed that there will be heavy rain with thunder in 13 districts including Dakshina Kannada district after Saturday. Many parts of Bengaluru Rural, Chamaraja Nagar, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Dakshina Kannada, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Koppala, Mandya, Mysuru, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts will experience heavy rains and caution has been advised.

Hot temperatures continue to rise in most districts of the state without rain. As a result, all the crops grown by farmers are dying from the heat of the sun. But on the other hand, the India meteorological department has predicted heavy rains in some districts from today November 4. The state capital Bengaluru has continued to have sunny weather for the past one week.

Again, heavy rain is forecast in the city for the next 5 days. A yellow alert has been announced for Shivamogga, Mandya, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru districts in the southern interior due to heavy rain forecast from November 4.

Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Kolar, Mysuru, Tumkur, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Dharwad, Haveri, Bengaluru Rural and Bengaluru Urban districts are likely to receive moderate rain and the temperature is likely to rise in the remaining districts. Thunderstorms are likely in Kerala till November 6. And the wind speed will be 30-40 kmph according to the Indian Meteorological Department.

The Indian Meteorological Department has indicated that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in the coastal part of the state for the next three days. According to the weather report, yellow alert has been announced in Udupi district till November 7. The announcement said that there is a possibility of more rainfall with thunderstorm these days.
