BJP youth leader and Bengaluru South MP Tejashwi Surya questioned the Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government over the incident and asked the state to update the action taken against the accused in such incidents.

“A Hindu shopkeeper who was playing bhajans in his shop was attacked by anti-social elements saying that bhajans are not allowed during Azaan. Being emboldened to such elements is a direct result of Congress’s appeasement politics.

Just a few days ago those who shouted Pakistan Zindabad were granted bail. As Jihadists get such political support, naturally, such crime cases against Hindus are increasing in our state. CM should stop giving wrong example. I call upon the state to inform the state what action has been taken against the culprits in this case,” Tejaswi posted on X.
