KL Rahul will not join RCB before IPL 2025 auction
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season is still a few months away, but the buzz surrounding KL Rahul‘s future has already captured the imagination of cricket fans across India. With rumours swirling about a possible move to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the cricketing world is abuzz with speculation. KL Rahul will not join RCB before IPL 2025 Auction.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will not be able to trade KL Rahul before the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) auction. The main reason for this is the mega auction rule of IPL. Trading of players is not allowed as per this rule.
Amid the preparations for Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) Season-18, the next move of KL Rahul is the cause of everyone’s curiosity. Because Karnataka player is almost sure to come out of the Lucknow Super Giants team. In order to enrich this, Rahul also expressed hope of playing for RCB.
But despite his desire to play for RCB again, KL Rahul will not be directly selected for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. That means there is no chance to trade Rahul from the Lucknow Super Giants team before the mega auction. Instead they have to buy through mega auction.
Because as per IPL rules, player trading is not allowed in mega auctions. Instead, players are allowed to trade only during this mini auction. So RCB will not be able to buy KL Rahul before this auction. If KL Rahul appears in the mega auction, other franchises will also be interested in buying him.

Because Rahul is a wicket keeper batsman. He also has the experience of leading Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants teams in IPL. Thus, with the purchase of KL Rahul, the positions of captain, wicket keeper and opener can be filled. Thus, more franchises will be interested in buying players who can fill three positions with a single selection.
Even though RCB is going to buy KL Rahul through the mega auction, there is sure to be a lot of competition. So we have to wait and see which team KL Rahul will be part of in IPL 2025 Mega Action.
