Karnataka Election Result 2023: HD Kumaraswamy made big statement on alliance government

Karnataka Election Result 2023: Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 is over and the future of political leaders will be revealed in a few hours. As the polling ended candidates are in relaxed mood and on the other hand, if they did not get a majority, the BJP and the Congress started an internal exercise to hold hand with kingmaker JDS party.

In recent political development JDS chief former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said that At present I have no idea about forming an alliance. We will decide whether alliance with BJP or Congress depending on which party fulfils our conditions.

On the day of polling on Wednesday, 10 exit polls were released, most of which predicted that the Congress would win the majority. On the other hand, BJP is waiting with confidence that we will win. Thus, JDS party has decided to help the party and the internal exercise has started.

Before going to Singapore for rest on the day of counting of votes (May 10), HD Kumaraswamy gave an interview to the Deccan Herald and spoke about the Exit polls. And many of the polls have indicated that the JDS party will get very few seats. But I am confident of winning 50 seats.

HD Kumaraswamy said that this time I will go with the party who agrees to fulfil my conditions. Through this, he has sent a message that he is ready for alliance. Kumaraswamy’s standoff this time is due to the crises he faced when he became chief minister twice under coalition governments, once with the BJP (2006) and then with the Congress (2018).

Therefore, this time, before signing the alliance, they have come to the decision of making an alliance with those parties only after ensuring that some of their conditions are fulfilled. Specifically, Kumaraswamy wants JDS MLAs to get portfolios like water resources, electricity and public works.
