Janardhana Reddy will join BJP Again: dissolved his party

Sources close to mining tycoon and politician Gali Janardhana Reddy have said that they are considering rejoining the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections. Reddy had formed a new political party called Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha (KRPP) before the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023.

Later he was elected MLA from Gangavati constituency by the same party. But Reddy’s dissolution of the KRPP before the festival of Diwali has become a topic of discussion in the state political circle. It is said that the BJP has given a green signal to include Reddy.

It is through former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa that Reddy will be reinstated. Similarly, party state president Vijayendra is keen to welcome Reddy back to the BJP, sources said. Reddy was instrumental in bringing the BJP to power for the first time in Karnataka in 2008. He later faced charges of illegal mining and went to jail. Later, BJP kept a distance and did not issue tickets to contest the elections.
