Astrotalk CEO Puneet Gupta has promised to give a huge amount of Rs 100 crores to AstroTalk users if India wins the much awaited India vs Australia ODI World Cup 2023 final to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Reminiscing about India’s last ODI World Cup win in 2011, Gupta shared a nostalgic post on LinkedIn. Recalling the tension of the match, he recalled the sleepless nights spent discussing match strategy with friends during his college days.

“We didn’t sleep well before the match day. In fact, we kept discussing the match strategy the whole night,” Gupta wrote. Reflecting on the happy aftermath of India’s 2011 victory, Gupta described celebrating with friends, who indulged in spontaneous rituals including bike rides and pre-arranged bhangra sessions with strangers in Chandigarh.

After we won the match, I hugged all my friends. We went for a bike ride in Chandigarh and did Bhangra at every roundabout with strangers. We hugged everyone we met. It was truly the happiest day of my life,” he said.
Looking ahead to the 2023 World Cup, Gupta is excited to share the joy with the AstroTalk community. “Last time I had few friends to share my happiness, but this time we have many Astrotalk users who are like friends, so I have to do something to share my happiness with them,” he said.
